Archdiocese of Tuam Diocesan Appointments 2019

  The Archbishop of Tuam, Dr. Michael Neary, has announced the following diocesan appointments and retirements:

Very Reverend Paddy Gilligan, P.P. Cong to retire;

Very Reverend Patrick Mullins, P.P. Cummer to retire;

Very Reverend Enda Howley, C.C. Monivea to retire;

Very Reverend Martin O’Connor, P.P. Kilvine to be a member of the Cathedral Chapter;

Very Reverend Billy Reilly, S.P. An Cnoc, to be a member of the Cathedral Chapter;

Very Reverend Ciarán Blake, returning from sabbatical leave to be P.P. Cummer;

Very Reverend Declan Carroll, P.P. Parke / Keelogues, returning from sabbatical leave to be P.P. Cong;

Very Reverend Peter Suttle, CSSp, to continue as Administrator of Parke / Keelogues;

Very Reverend Karl Burns, P.P. Mountbellew to be, in addition, P.P. Menlough.  The priests of Athenry to share responsibility for the pastoral and sacramental care in the parish of Menlough;

Very Reverend Hughie Loftus, S.P. An Cheathrú Rua on sabbatical leave for one year;

Reverend Clement McManus CSsR, to be Administrator An Cheathrú Rua for one year;

Very Reverend Angelo Joy, OFM Cap, Administrator Kilconly has been recalled to his Order;

Reverend Anthaiah Pudota, Knock Shrine, to be Administrator Kilconly.
