- CHOOSE LIFE: WE CHERISH THEM BOTH is the theme for A Vigil of Prayer for the Right to Life of Mothers and their Unborn Babies on Saturday 4 May, Our Lady’s Shrine, Knock, Co Mayo. This important event, supported by the Irish Bishops’ Conference, begun with a themed Rosary Procession at 1.00pm and concluded with Mass in the Basilica at 3.00pm. Main celebrant was Cardinal Seán Brady, Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland and homilist was Bishop Brendan Leahy, Bishop of Limerick.
