Diocesan Appointments 2017

The Archbishop of Tuam, Most Rev. Michael Neary

has announced the following Diocesan changes.

 

Very Reverend Patrick Donnellan, P.P., Islandeady to retire.

Reverend Chris Brennan, S.M.A., to become Administrator in Islandeady.

The weekend Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Finney will be the responsibility of the Parish Priest of Clonbur, Very Reverend Gerard Burns.

The weekend Mass in Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Creeragh will be the responsibility of the Parish Priest of Leenane, Very Reverend Kieran Burke.

These changes will take place on the weekend of Friday, 21st July, 2017.

 

Very Reverend Des Canon Walsh, P.P., Lackagh to retire.

Very Reverend John O’Gorman, P.P., Menlough to become P.P., Lackagh.

Reverend Yesudas Kodiveettil, C.C., Tuam to become Administrator Menlough.

These changes to take place on Friday, 29th September, 2017.

Reverend Enda Howley, C.C., Ryehill, Monivea, Co. Galway.

Very Reverend Patrick Mullins, P.P., Corofin, Tuam, Co. Galway.

Very Reverend Stephen Farragher, P.P., Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo.

  

Very Reverend Joseph Canon Cooney has retired as Director of Knock Marriage Introductions.

Very Reverend Stephen Canon Farragher, P.P., Ballyhaunis, has been appointed Director of Knock Marriage Introductions.
