TY Project Exhibition in the Rest & Care Centre in Knock on Monday 13/3/17
Transition Year students from around the Archdiocese put on an audio visual display of the wide range of projects that they undertook in their local parishes.
The ten Schools that took part are: Ballyhaunis Community school, St Colman’s Claremorris, Davitt College Castlebar, Dunmore Community school, St Gerald’s Castlebar, Glenamaddy Community school, Holy Rosary College Mountbellew, Mount St Michael’s Claremorris, Presentation College Headford, St Joseph’s Convent of Mercy Castlebar.
There were over three hundred TY pupils present for the occasion.
Archbishop Neary addressed the gathering and Fr Michael Murphy was MC.
Thanks to Sr Margaret Buckley, the resource person for RI teachers in the Archdiocese who co-ordinated the event along with Sr Mary Corr and others.
