As part of the Faith Development plan for 2015 the Diocesan Pastoral Council held a Faith Fair in Claremorris on Tuesday evening, September 29th. Hundreds of people attended from parishes around the diocese. Following an introductory prayer there were several talks and presentations on different parish and diocesan projects and people could engage with the various stalls afterwards. Fr. Tod Nolan and Ann McHale chaired the fair, Fr. Pat Farragher spoke on Baptism Teams, Tim Gunning from Westport spoke about his experience of the Good News Club for young people, Orla Sweeney from Claremorris spoke about the Do this in Memory of Me programme, Mary Connell, Castlebar spoke about You Shall Be my Witness, Gabriel Prendergast, Kilvine spoke about funeral ministry, Colm Kilcoyne spoke about Ministry of Reader, Liam Sadler on Catechetical Programmes, Mary Trench on the Vision Programme, Fr. Tod Nolan on DVD Programmes, Una Nolan of Knock on Faith Development Programme in Knock, Siobhán Bradley on Youth Ministry. There were many other groups with stalls and presentations available during the tea and coffee afterwards.
