Ms. Siobhán Bradley has been Diocesan Youth Director for the Archdiocese of Tuam since 2014, having succeeded Trish O’Brien, the first Diocesan Youth Director.

The need for a Diocesan Youth Director was identified at the Diocesan Assembly in 2006 when Youth Ministry was highlighted as a priority for the Archdiocese.

A native of Ballinasloe, Siobhán studied history and theology in St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth before studying for a Master’s Degree in Theology specialising in Pastoral Studies in Maynooth in 2008.  She was Youth Ministry Coordinator in Galway diocese from 2008-2012 and for the past year has been School Retreat Facilitator in Ballintubber Abbey, Co. Mayo.

Siobhán is a member of Catholic Comment, holds a certificate in Youth Ministry from St. Mary’s University, Belfast, holds a diploma in Pastoral Care and Counselling from the Irish Training and Educational Company and has experience in the working with various Liturgy Groups, has done Suicide intervention / prevention courses, has worked on the Rainbows, bereavement programme as well as being a Child Line Volunteer.

Siobhán works closely with the priests, Parish Groups, the Diocesan Youth Council, and all interested in the area of Youth Ministry in the Archdiocese.
