Opening and blessing of Tuam Parish Centre

On Tuesday, September 24th, Mercy Day the recently refurbished Mercy Convent was officially opened and blest by Archbishop Michael Neary.  Sr. Caitlín Conneely, Mercy Provincial cut the tape and formally handed over the keys to Archbishop Neary, Fr. Francis Mitchell, Adm. and the Tuam Parish Team.  The people of Tuam were delighted to welcome back so many of the Mercy Sisters and to thank them for the generous donation of the Parish Centre.
