On Sunday, August 7th the annual pilgrimage to Mamean was held in the Maamturk mountains. Large crowds attended for the stations of the Cross and Mass. Fr. Michéal MacGréil coordinated proceedings. Fr. Fintan Monahan led Turas na Croise. Joe-John Mac Con Iomaire sang Caoineadh na dTrí Muire. An tAth. Seán O Conghaile from Doire Choill, a Columban Father home from Korea celebrated Mass. Fr. Paddy Considine, Retired Parish Priest of Rosmuc concelebrated. Ceoltóirí agus damhsóirí Máméan sang, played music and danced. A 92 year old Man, Mr. Willie Holleran from Clonbur was the most senior of the pilgrims! He is pictured below with his wife Christina along with Fr. MacGréil.
